I just purchased the HUP Office , and started to download. I get the error message:. Please try installing the bit version of Office instead, or uninstall your other bit Office programs and try the bit installation again. I would like to install the bit, since my computer is bit, but the installer that I download never gives me that option. Can I download a bit installer somewhere else, to avoid this hassle? If not, can I force the installer that comes as default part of the HUP program to install in bit?

I found this post here that says the installer itself is bit, and complains every single time about any bit programs.
