After adding I did need to delete the English keyboard, which I don’t have, and was wondering if when rebooting my Word program would have automatically gone to German, which gratefully it didn’t.
I had same problem and definitely this is a bug because each time that you re-login or restart the computer configuration is missing. I had this problem for a long time and I could finally solve it. It has been very very annoying. I work in Germany, I like the German keyboard layout, but my German knowledge is not good enough to switch the whole computer language in German.
