I wasn’t going to post this here but I’m stuck and since it was Microsoft’s update that caused the issue, I thought I might see if you had any suggestions, even if it’s a different software.
It uses a program called Control Center 3 which operates the scanner to my printer. It was working up to I believe January 16th, but as of January 18th, after getting a Microsoft update for Windows 10, this program no longer works. I could be wrong obviously. I have uninstalled the printer, installed it back on, done all that I can think of with no success. Can you tell me a if this is why my scanner no longer works and b a way to fix it or c a different program to use in place of the Control Center 3.
I have searched for something to replace it but I’m not finding anything that sounds like it’s for a printer. Thank You in advance for any help. This thread is locked. Many people are reporting the same problem, you are correct, this is caused by end of support for the Adobe Flash Player, and that Brother ControlCenter3 is based on the Flash Player Adobe announced the end of Flash 2 years ago and gave all developers, including Brother, 2 years to change the functionality of their software, Brother have not updated their software, I have checked and so far, Brother have not released a new version of that software.

Thank you also for the alternate choice software. I have installed it. It took me awhile to get it downloaded because the Microsoft Store kept telling me ‘my page was not available and to try again later’. I sent to message to them for advice I’ve had this issue since I got Windows 10 installed where the deal won’t let me log in – got some help making my account work so now I can get in, just can’t do anything once in.
