The most annoying to me is that, when I copy and paste something, it often ends up far away from where it was copied from, to the point where it’s usually out of the editing area entirely.

This can be a real pain if the pasted item is very small. There’s also cases where layers don’t respond when selected, previews on the sidebar don’t update

Thu Nov 28, am I have a graphic template created in Photoshop, with several text layers. I am fairly new to Pixelmator. I need to change the text within an already created box in the template.

For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to highlight the text within this box so I can change the text. I don’t want want to create a new text layer. I just want to highlight the text, keep it formatted in the same font and color, and change the words. Seems I should be able to hit the T tool, click and drag across the text to highlight it, and type to change the words.

I hit the T tool, and all it does is create a new text layer. This should be simple, pjxelmator I’ve spent an hour trying to figure this out. Thanks for your help, Dick Allgire Honolulu. To edit existing text, click on pixelmator edit text layer free once with the Move Tool the default pixelmator edit text layer free to select it and again to edit texy. Hope this helps.
